Punta Cana - Bavaro

Punta Cana – Bavaro is the most famous resort not only of the island, but in the whole Caribbean. Moreover, Punta Cana's international airport offers the great number of direct flights from and to any country in the world, being the most visited destination in the Dominican Republic.

The region consists of the following areas (from south to north): Cap Cana (Juanillo), Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Bavaro, El Cortesito, Gorda Arena, Macao, Bavaro, thus making this area one of the best options for those, who are seeking the perfect beach and tranquility desired to live or to spend a long vacation.

La Altagracia is the province. Its main city is Higuey, which is located approximately 40 minutes from Punta Cana and Bavaro downtown (touristic centre). The whole coast has a lot of all-inclusive hotels, primarily aimed at families, surrounded by other unusual spots to discover little by little, for example, excursions, safaris, natural landscapes full of truly amazing wildlife.

The leisure offer includes sports and water sports, horse shows, exotic animals and lively evening entertainments. For the most restless spirit, visit neighboring provinces or try on any other activity like hiking, adventures, quad motor rides, boogie, horses, bikes and catamarans, among others.

The cheerful Dominican nature and their hospitality allow us to enjoy a pleasant stay. Traveling from one place to another is safe and easy. And do not forget to taste the local Creole cuisine in the nearby towns. Dominican nightlife is also very entertaining. Lack of the day hours gives you a chance to enjoy everything else in the nighttime.

For the early risers, there is nothing better than having breakfast at the club house, and starting the day playing a round at one of the excellent golf courses (some of them listed worldwide, with professional-level skills in the category of the PGA). A walk to the beach with a swim in the turquoise water is the best way to whet your appetite and enjoy the fruits of the sea in one of the beach bars or restaurants. Places to try once and try again are such traditional restaurants as: "Jelly Fish", "Captain Cook", "D'Angelo", "Soles Bar", "El Pulpo Cojo", etc. For water lovers, spend the morning enjoying your favorite water sports like windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving with colorful fish, or swimming with dolphins. If we want the smallest ones to delight in all the fauna and flora, you should visit "Manati Park" or try "Delfin Explorer". One can also travel to the sites located in the surrounding provinces, like in northeast, Samana Peninsula offers you whales excursions, the Limon waterfall or the Saona Island to the southeast.

La Romana - Bayahibe

La Romana is a cozy little town in the South-Eastern coast, surrounded by beautiful valleys, sugar cane plantations, fields with lemons and oranges. The resort area of Bayahibe is located near the town of La Romana. Endless Sea, sky, white sand and palm trees - these are the inalieble parts of Bayahibe - a picturesque fishing village, which is presented by a bunch of small colorful wooden houses. If you rent a boat to get to the nearby island of Saona, or visit the Eastern National Park – the Nature Reserve, where you could see numerous species of endangered plants and animals (including sea turtles, pelicans, dolphins, flying fish). In this park you will discover the astonishing nature of the fantastic grottoes and caves, and thickets of climbing plants that go down into the sea, reflecting and glittering in the crystal water.
Crossing the river, you will be in the Casa de Campo - the largest tourist complex of the Caribbean. The complex has its own airport. Located just steps away from the Casa de Campo, Altos de Chavon, is an artificially recreated medieval city of artists and craftsmen. There is a school of design (a branch of the Institute of Design Parsons of New York), the Church of St. Stanislaus, the Regional Archaeological Museum and the amphitheater for 5,000 people. The fashionable Casa de Campo. It is located two kilometers away from the city of La Romana on the Caribbean coast. In addition to the luxury hotels and villas with numerous pools, there are a street of restaurants, customer service center, shops, and a beautiful private beach in Bayahibe.
There are a well-equipped three championship golf courses, tennis courts, a yacht club, horse stables with great horses and ponies, polo fields. You will also find clubs, bars, casinos and organized parties - for evening entertainment. In Casa de Campo there are also a shooting club, great clubs for children and teenagers, and equipped with the latest technology conference and business centers. Casa de Campo has a private airport and a seaport for cruise ships. And all this is located in a compact manner stretched over a vast area of 7000 hectares. You can easily reach Casa de Campo by a public bus, or a rented vehicle.
Casa de Campo is included in the world top ten visited destinations, among the other famous guests are politicians and celebrities such as Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Lisa-Marie Presley, Bill Gates, etc.
In the mid 80s Casa de Campo was acquired by the US-Cuban family that as the previous owners, still employs local people and contributes to the rural development of the region. The 19th annual ceremony «World Travel Awards» held in mid-January 2012 in Dokha, the project Casa de Campo was named for the fifth time in a row "the best golf resort in the world."

Samana - Las Terrenas

Samana - a peninsula located in the North-Eastern coast of the country. This place is tailored for individual relaxation: deserted beaches, coconut groves, colourful village houses – a typical common image of Samana. Here, apart of the beautiful nature and the pristine beaches, it is worth of seeing the National Park Los Gaitises (208 sq. km.) with the caves of San Gabriel, Angel, Arena, and Linea; amazing beaches of the island of Cayo Levantado; the Marine Reserve - Banco de la Plata; waterfalls El Limon and La Fuente del Amirante ("Admiral Falls"); "Crystal Lagoon" of the river Barakot; resort towns of Las Terrenas, Las Galeras, Playa Bonita, El Portillo as well as the most photogenic country beach - Playa Rincon. Samana’s bay is considered one of the best places in the world to observe the humpback whales, where every year, in the period from January 15 to March 15, a few hundred to thousands of sea giants enjoy a true "courtship dances" in coastal shallows.
